Your journey begins at 6:30 AM with a pick-up from your accommodation in Djerba.
Heading towards Ksar Ghilane, one of Tunisia’s most breathtaking desert locations, you’ll stop along the way to capture the stunning scenery and enjoy a revitalizing coffee break.
Arriving at Ksar Ghilane around 10 AM, your quad bike will be ready for an initial introduction and safety briefing before setting off on an exhilarating 1.5-hour ride across the golden dunes of the Grand Erg Oriental.
Halfway through, take a well-earned break in a charming Saharan camp, where you will enjoy a traditional lunch at the base of the dunes.
Recharged, you will embark on a second 1.5-hour quad ride, exploring new landscapes of the Tunisian desert. After this adrenaline-packed adventure, unwind in the soothing hot spring of Ksar Ghilane—a true oasis in the heart of the desert.
By late afternoon, your journey back to Djerba will take you through the Berber region of Tataouine, offering one last glimpse of Tunisia’s rich culture.
If you want to extend this adventure, we also offer: A two-day quad trip in the desert in Douz, including an overnight stay in a bivouac in a tent in the heart of the desert.

DESERT QUAD RIDE AT KSAR GHILANE PROGRAM
6:30 am: Gathering at your accommodation in Djerba. Leave for
Ksar Ghilane in 4x4.
10:00 a.m.: Arrival at Ksar Ghilane. Preparation for the first session
of quad.
10:30 am: Start of your first quad session of 1h30 through
desert dunes.
12:00 p.m.: Lunch break at the Saharan camp, at the foot of the dunes.
1:00 p.m.: Resumption of the quad for a second session of 1h30 in
the desert.
2:30 p.m.: Return to Ksar Ghilane for a moment of rest.
4:00 p.m.: Departure for Djerba.
7:00 p.m.: Return to your place of stay in Djerba.
