HIKING EQUESTRIAN IN THE TUNISIAN DESERT

Day 1: From Gabès to Douz and the Desert

We will start our journey by picking you up at your place
stay in Gabes.
A comfortable transfer will bring you to Douz, "the gateway to the desert",
where our experienced guides and their trusty mounts will be waiting for you.

After getting to know our horses, we will undertake
the first leg of our horse trek through the pristine white sands of the desert, which stretches as far as the eye can see like a quarry
giant sand.
After two hours of walking through these spectacular landscapes,
we will take a break for a delicious lunch prepared by our guides.

Reinvigorated by this meal, we will resume our ride for three more hours in the dunes, before setting up our bivouac.

under the stars in individual tents.

Day 2: Return to Douz and Gabes

In the morning, after an energizing breakfast, we will resume our horseback riding for three hours through the desert.

We will stop for a well-deserved lunch with our rider guides before resuming our journey to Douz.

Finally, we will say goodbye to our faithful mounts and our guides,
and you will be comfortably transferred back to your place of stay
in Gabes.
