Meeting with a Stormtrooper in front of the Lars Farm igloo
The igloo is located in the Chott el Jerid region, not far from Nefta and Tozeur. It is here that scenes from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace were filmed, showing Anakin Skywalker in his home on Tatooine. The igloo was also used in the original films to represent Luke's home.
R2D2 captured by Jawas in the Sidi Bouhlel Canyon in Tunisia. In A New Hope, Sidi Bouhlel is where R2D2 is captured by the Jawas after he gets separated from C-3PO in the Tatooine desert. The Jawas, small-time nomadic scrap metal dealers, capture the droid to sell him, which sets off a series of events crucial to the plot.
