2-DAY DESERT HIKE FROM ZARZIS
DAY 1
Departure early in the morning at 6:30 am from your hotel in Zarzis towards Douz,
the door of the desert, where we will arrive around 10 am.
Our camel drivers will be waiting for us with all the necessary equipment to prepare meals and set up the bivouac for the night in the desert.
After an introduction to driving our mounts, we will begin our camel trek in the soothing silence of the desert.
Our camel drivers will take care of all the logistics.
In the evening, after dinner, we will meet around the fire to chat with our camel guides. You will spend the night in a private tent or under the stars, depending on your preference.
DAY 2
The next day, after a good breakfast and bread baked in the sand, we will resume our hike. After the lunch break, we will head to Douz.
Little by little, we will return to Douz, where your 4X4 will be waiting for you to take you back to Zarzis.
We also offer this one-day camel trek.
Note: The duration of the walk is approximately 3-5 hours per day, but the pace is slow and suitable for all levels.
The experience is designed to be an immersion into Bedouin life, so it's not a race.
Rather, it is an opportunity to appreciate the serene beauty of the desert and reconnect with nature.

NIGHT BIVOUAC IN THE TUNISIAN DESERT
Day 1: Zarzis > Douz > Desert.
Pick up at your place of stay in Zarzis at 6:30 am.
Transfer by 4X4 in Douz.
We will meet our Bedouin guides and their dromedaries, we will leave for the first stage of our backpackingcamel.
After two hours of hiking, lunch break, prepared by the camel driver.
Resuming our walk for 3 hours in the white sand dunes.
Bivouac, dinner and night in the desert in individual tents.
Day 2: Desert > Douz > Zarzis.
Breakfast and departure for the return to Douz
After 3 hours of hiking, lunch break with the camel driver.
Resumption of our walk to find Douz.
Return to your place of stay in Zarzis around 5:30 p.m.
Hiking two-day camel trek. Open October to May.
