HORSE RIDE IN THE DESERT IN THE TUNISIAN DESERT DEPARTING FROM ZARZIS
For our rider friends, we have the opportunity to offer you horseback riding through the Tunisian desert, a unique and unforgettable experience. Here is an overview of what you can expect from this adventure.
We will leave Zarzis in the morning towards Douz, the famous gateway to the desert.
In Douz, we will meet our experienced rider guides as well as the magnificent horses that will accompany us throughout our ride.
Once the preparations are complete, we will begin our horseback ride through the endless expanses of the Tunisian desert.
On this day, we will spend the whole day on horseback, exploring the stunning landscapes of the desert.
We will cross majestic sand dunes, desert plains and perhaps even isolated oases.
During our ride, we will take breaks to rest, enjoy the incredible panoramas and have lunch in the desert.
At the end of the afternoon, we will set up our camp for the night.
You will have the choice of sleeping in a private tent or under the stars for a more authentic experience.
The next day, after a last breakfast in the desert, we will take our horses back to continue our trek to Douz.
Once in Douz, we will take the way back to Zarzis, taking with us unforgettable memories of our equestrian adventure in the Tunisian desert.
This horseback ride will allow you to experience a real communion with nature and horses, while exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the desert.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, this experience promises you moments of freedom, connection and wonder.

PROGRAM:
Day 1: Zarzis > Douz > Desert

Pick up at your place of stay in Zarzis, then transfer in Douz.

There we will meet our horse guides and their horses then we will leave for the first stage of our horseback ridingin the white sand of the desert, a gigantic quarry.

After two hours of hiking, lunch break, prepared by the guide.

Resumption of our ride for 3 hours in the dunes.

Bivouac, dinner and night in the desert in individual tents.
Day 2: Desert > Douz > Zarzis

Breakfast and departure 3 hours of walk.

Lunch breakwith horse guides.

Resuming our walk to find Douz.

Return to your place of stay in Zarzis
